Fact-Checking Policy

How PhoneBulk checks factual claims before publication and how that process connects to the public corrections page.

Fact-checking starts with claim scope. A statement about a manufacturer screen, a GSMA status, an Incoterm, or a sanitization rule must match a current primary source.

Before publication

We open the cited document, check names and dates, and refuse claims the source does not carry. A marketplace blog is not enough for a lock or battery rule.

After publication

When a source changes, we update the page and the updatedAt date. We do not refresh dates to look new.

Request a correction

Use the corrections policy. Send the URL, the sentence, and a primary source.
